We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Praneeth Kemisetti, who is the head of the Sparsh Youth Wing in America. Praneeth, who came all the way from the USA, spent two weeks of his summer with us, inspiring and motivating students. His efforts had a lasting impact on students in grades 8 to 10, as he introduced them to career-focused subjects such as Finance and Java, allowing the students to better understand their interests. Praneeth’s influence on our students is long-lasting, as he continues to lead our online tutoring program from the US. He also took the lead in organizing fundraisers to support various Sparsh-related causes. We are truly grateful to Praneeth for his incredible contributions!
Harsha’s daughter has been mentoring couple of kids from Nishulk public school for past 2 weeks in Mathematics and the effort has been going great so far. It is so exciting and heartening to see kids from US taking time to help underprivileged kids back in India, and what a great way to give back. Thanks Harsha for coordinating the entire effort with Gayathri who is the teacher/coordinator on the Indian side including Rakesh. Great coordination on both sides.
We are supporting 2 girls Sirisha and Parveen in their pursuit of higher education. They just passed out from Nishulk Public school and were struggling to pay for their intermediate education. Find below their details.
To show appreciation for the Sparsh Family, students of Nishulk Public School spent some time making handmade greeting cards for all of us. You should be receiving one of these in the mail in a couple of weeks. Please post them here when you get them. What a lovely gesture from them.

A remote village of Nepal called Kanda, a village inhabited by the marginalized and underprivileged “Chepang communities”; who are forced to live rigorous life being deprived of the basic and fundamental rights of any common citizen. A gentleman by the name of Bishnu Gautam spent his own money to build a hostel (free hostel for marginalized, orphans, and homeless children)and help kids go to school so that they don’t have to walk 3-4 hours each way every day and kids get fed nutritious food.
This school year Sparsh has decided to help the kids by supplying school bags and stationery items.
See how our contributions are reaching far and wide in pictures. The attached document gives details of our support. Thanks to all our members for supporting the kids.

When we received a request for old-age residents of the Aadharana home for providing beds, Sparsh responded by providing them beds.
Completed donation of food essentials to Aadharana Old Age home, in a critical time when they were running out of supplies.
[1:20 PM, 6/4/2021] Gopi: Adharana Special Needs school was struggling to get their Speech Therapy program started due to the lack of a laptop to feed the software that was needed. Sparsh jumped in and purchased a new laptop for the program. This laptop will be specifically used by the teachers and special needs kids for Speech therapy. Find below pics of teachers and students using it for the program.
[1:21 PM, 6/4/2021] Gopi: Once we found out about the requirement, Sandhya diligently researched the specs for the laptop after talking to the teachers at Adharana Special Needs school and helping purchase and deliver the laptop to the school. This is what Sandhya’s reaction was after looking at the pics “It was worth seeing those kids face really they are very happy watching the laptop. Really felt happy for the first time seeing those kids, it’s worth working to get something for them”. Thanks, Sandhya, really grateful to u for making all this happen.

I hope you remember Rehan who is a medical student whose fees and textbooks were sponsored by Sparsh
Recently Dr. James had requested me if anyone can lend a used stethoscope to Rehan since he has been using other students stethoscopes and it was becoming very difficult to lend it each time
Pramod Kumar’s daughter Amrita is a medical student in Hyderabad, so I checked with her if she can arrange for a used stethoscope from her college. After consultation with their friends, the medical college group pooled in their pocket money and brought a new stethoscope for Rehan.
It is so heartening to see young blood sacrificing their pocket money for such a good cause. Kudos to the group as in the below pic. Rehan with stethoscope in the pic below that.
[1:25 PM, 5/27/2019] Gopi: I would like to make an announcement regarding a very good initiative that Sparsh has taken up for supporting a very poor medical student with huge support from Dr Suresh Singh and Dr James my ex OU colleagues
[1:30 PM, 5/27/2019] Gopi: Rehan is a poor medical student coming from a very non privileged background and struggling to support his medical education, he is in 2nd yr. Fortunately Telengana Govt takes care of his fee but he has to still pay his hostel fee and other expenses and is struggling every yr for that. This is when Dr James came to know about it and asked for support from Sparsh. Since we did not budget this big amount for supporting an additional student this yr, this is when Dr Suresh Singh stepped up and chipped in $1000 to Sparsh for supporting the cause, We added an additional Rs 15,000 to cover the entire expenses
